Hello and Happy Monday,
What a weekend! We celebrated Michael’s 13th birthday all weekend long. I’m pretty sure he will remember this one for a long time.
Today I am celebrating my own birthday. I taught yoga this morning, which is one of my favorite ways to celebrate, and while I was teaching, realized that I have been practicing yoga for more than half of my life and I cannot express the gratitude I have for this practice. I am not sure I would have ended up where I am today without this practice.
This year I am focusing on better wellbeing. Including both physical and mental and emotional wellbeing. For me, a lot of that lies in practicing yoga. In talking with my cohorts, my fellow yoga teachers, we tend to put our own practices aside in order to serve others. As someone who truly tries to practice what I preach and honestly very tired of learning this lesson over and over, I’m dedicating this year to my yoga practice. I’ll be traveling around trying to get to at least one in-person yoga class weekly.
If you are looking for accountability, a friend to practice with, have a place you want me to try or want a virtual yoga date, let me know. I’m more than happy to set up my mat beside yours and practice. Won’t you join me?
And, I’ll be keeping my same teaching schedule, so I’d still love to see you live or virtually.
Yoga in the Park time change starts this week – I have moved it to 8:30 am. I hope to see you there.
